That said, I expected it to go a lot higher considering that there were 4 or 5 bidders above the $2M level a couple of days ago.

Me too. But this one didn't follow the usual auction habit, where the last bidding war starts at the last minutes.

It's a good price for the seller, to be sure, a decent ROI from $20 reg fee...but I can imagine how the biggest Pizza chains would be willing to shell out some serious cash to deny their competitors this domain name. And I'm sure the likes of Pizza Hut and others are not short of this sort of pocket money.

I think this domain would of done better at TRAFFIC... Plus, the way Sedo runs the show their, I wouldn't expect to see payment. I have had 4 non-paying bidders just in 2008 already. I hope for the seller, that payment is made, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I agree also got a few myself well 2 but thats enough for me to move away from Sedo seems like they are getting much worse then when they started. alot of work for nothing non paying bidders.
