I have efile.tv at GreatDomains , they appraised and listed at $40,000 , what do you think? Think it might be a long term hold?.

Great domains overestimate many domains especially .tv .cc ones

on the contrary they refuse to list valuable domains just because they don't like it

GotaSale, I understand what you mean. They accept single word .TV and .CC names over many two word .coms and single word .coms that hold much more development / traffic potential. Just look at the weekly sales report on dnjournal to see what kind of names actually make the high dollar sales. Very very rarely do you see any .tv or .cc names. In all honesty, I can't see this one going for any more than $xx. Appraisals are not nearly as meaningful as actual domain sale history.

I don't mean to slam the thread here but you asked for everyones opinions on its value. Maybe focus on registering hobby/interests in the .tv extension, ones that could be used as channels when internet tv gets bigger. It does have a long way to come, but I believe internet television will be a very big thing. ManiaTV.com is one example of it starting to take off. Best of luck.

Thanks for your opinions everyone , no false hopes here , I am a veteran domainer , its the only .tv I own , but I think just because its efile I will hold a few years.
