But also this is nice name, especially with POP3Email.com.

Part of the fun of domain appraisal is finding out all sorts of strange things. A Google search for pope mail gave a page containing this paragraph.

As for your disagreeing with my statement that the third secret is the Pope's mail, I am sorry but I will be blunt. I will be very blunt in the rest of this answer. That bluntness is not directed at you personally, but at this whole situation concerning this confusion over Fatima. My bluntness is directed toward the purveyors of this confusion and secondarily to the groupies who are obesessed with this and will listen to any wacko rather than the Pope and the Church about this and who thus kept places like the Fatima Crusader in operation. Unfortunately innocent and well-meaning people get caught-up in this. It is because of that -- the innocent and well-meaning people -- that I will "take no prisoners" in my criticism contained in this answer.

Looks as if there is a right old battle going on over this. I wish I knew enough to pitch in.

Sorry Genki to put this in your thread. Back to the original Q. Adopting my present position on hyphens, I would comment that the name needs a hyphen to clarify things. I am sure people are getting bored with this, so perhaps an alternative presentation would be better - POPeMail.com. I think it's a great name for an information site about the workings of POP mail delivery and configuring Outlook [express]. Should get some good traffic.

Yes, it is known as "POP3 Email" or "POP Email"

POP3 (Post Office Protocol) is a common mail protocol that allows you to download mail from a remote server into your local mail client software.

For reference, Overture shows 1,244 searches for "pop email" and 1,391 searches for "pop3 email" in November 2002.

Ok, now that we're clear what the domain actually means, would anyone else care to guestimate a value?

popmail.com would be my choice.

I think the Pope would like a free email service, and popemail.com is the perfect address to host such a thing.

cardinalmail.com and bishopmail.com are both taken, but I notice that choirboymail.com is currently available.

I'm sure there's a joke in here about sexual abuse in the Catholic church, but I wouldn't be so tasteless as to delve any further.

I agree! Though it is certainly worth the registration fee, in my opinion ... I think there's some confusion here, probably too much to overcome for any serious re-sale $$.
To me, it reads "PopeMail", which targets an entirely diffferent audience than the 'intent' of your post (with POP3Email.com). Also, to me, it reads/sounds as "PoppeyMail", literally (again using your original intention, as I read it). So, limited upside, but worth the bet.
