Yes, you never know how long it will take if one of the unknown "registrars" grabs it for Pool. Some have foreign language sites and don't respond to emails and others have non-functional sites which make it difficult to manage your domain and still others just never send any contact info or respond to emails. It's a great program Pool has. : )
Actually, shouldn't there should be some precendent set through the Sex.com fiasco? Shouldn't a company such as Pool.com be held liable for causing monetary damage by using non-functional registrars? Many domains are purchased for their traffic and therefore revenue. If Pool knowingly utilizes incompetent registrars to grab the names which in turn cause a loss of revenue to the buyer then, according to the precendent set in sex.com, they should be held liable. The domain is personal business property and should be treated as such.
