I dont own it.. just curious what you think it would be worth.

"I dont own it.. just curious what you think it would be worth."

UH OH ... if you don't own it, you are NOT allowed to post it here for appraisal. This is mentioned in another thread, I believe "Potato.com" ... by Greg, the owner of the site! :)
Sorry!
Good Luck.

Yes ... it is "Potato.com"!!

"Although I think I will make it a rule that you must own the name to ask for an appraisal. It's a waste of time. Even if you wanted to know because the real owner is selling, you wouldn't advertise that fact if you really wanted to buy it. Or if you say you did it as a favor for the real owner, tell the real owner to join and post."
-Gregr

Good Luck!

Please read the BOLD print upon entering the appraisal section.

Appraising names you don't own is a wate of time, and serves no purpose.

EVERY name is unique, so you cannot apply it to one you owm. Just post the name you own.

:-)

"oops sorry"

HeHe ... 'poor kid! Don't anyone tell him HE was the very first one to get busted! LOL. It's still a good rule, though.
Good Luck.

Why hasn't anybody said anything in the thread about sex.com? He obviously doesn't own it?

hmmmmmmm..............good question!!!

"Why hasn't anybody said anything in the thread about sex.com? He obviously doesn't own it?"

The question is fair. All I can say, strictly from observation, is that YOU were the chosen one for enforcement of this policy. It's probably not fair to you, but life is not always fair. Sorry.
Good Luck.

Yes, picking on the noobs is a noble sport; starts at 2nd grade or so :D

Don't sweat it jason...chalk it to a newbie error :D

Update: The aforementioned "Sex.com" APPRAISAL thread has been moved to the "Lounge"! Thank, Goodness.
So, as it seems ... THAT domain was the focus of the first-ever "enforcement" of the new rule!
Jason's post here will NOT go down as the "posterchild" for 'non-owner appraisal thread starter' behaviour. Yippee.
It was an honest mistake ... no harm, no foul.
Take care.
PS. Welcome to DNForum, Jason!
