There's something which makes me really angry and this's when I don't see any consideration for my rights of customer.

On 26/05/2004 I attempted to renew a snap with exp 28/05/2004 and I paid by PayPal but, at the moment to renew, I got an error message so it hasn't been processed ...
Ok, it might happen so I complaint many times with the support service to get a new snap being in good faith and having a payment receipt as proof of this ...

Luc (very good guy) promised to tell the owner about this but the owner didn't get in touch with us yet.
I asked Luc who the owner was but he didn't answer probably hoping to solve the problem privately with him but still nothing.

So, who owns domainsnaps.com now ? With whom should I complaint in order to get my snap back ?

I think maybe you can contact SnapNames.com directly with your payment and email evidences.

Ok I got a reply from DomainSnaps and here's the "bad story" again in brief with new updates too:

On 26th May I paid by PayPal to renew a snap with expiration 28th May (so I was in time and in good faith, do you all agree ?). Well, I got an error message and my renewal didn't go to an end.
I contacted at least 4 times (promptly with multiple mail forwards on 26 and 27th May) [email protected] by asking them to kindly renew it on my behalf and, of course, I enclosed my PayPal receipt.

I also specified since the first moment that I paid in time in good faith so now they had the responsability to renew it on my behalf because a bug in their system didn't allow me to do so from myself.
Well, Luc said the owner would have renewed it once back and now THEY DON'T WANT TO GIVE ME A NEW SNAP BECAUSE IT'S TOO LATE TO RENEW !

Well, I want your public feedback, please: who's right now ?
I've the right to get a new snap having renewed it in time (and I'm able to proof it) or they're right in their wish to simply refund back my renewal fee so I'd have lost a snap with no responsability ?

I know you e-mailed me a few times with your request. Unfortunately, I do
not own these services, and my flexibility in these types of matters is limited.

The problem occurred because there were insufficient funds in the xxxSnaps
account. I tried manually renewing the subscription and that's the error I
got.

The owner of the services was out of town and he didn't get my e-mail until
it was too late. I will speak to him about the refund, but honestly, the service
is making so little right now that if he was to give out a $37 snapback he'd
have to sell 6 more snap backs just to break even, and that's unlikely.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I'll work with Armen to do whatever is necessary
to fix this issue.

Ok but problem is not ours, if he'll not refund us he'll show only to be not reliable ... Just a warm for all members from using DomainSnaps, I hate being cheated !

Many times I made mistakes in my life and I covered in full the damage by affording a loss when responsability was mine so I hope he'll do the same ... It will give no result but we'll complaint with snapnames too regarding this issue, small things but I don't see any good reason for whom I should loose that money !
