Saw some recent sales of .NET names:
RYL.net - $9,450
Junior.net - $4,880
WIL.net - $3,388
Invite.net - $3,388
Adware.net - $3,088
Corkscrew.net - $1,494
Superhero.net - $1,488

Based on this renewed interest in .NET names, what do you think Publishing.net would go for?

OV count (without extension) -- 43,488
Google count (without extension) -- 44 Million
Good use for offline publishing and related, as well as online-related (blogs, etc.).

Any estimate of value, wholesale and/or retail, is welcome.

Thanks,
Tom

Because you have a choice of buyer's, This domain name has a nice value to it.
To an end user I would say 5000.00
A wholesaler would pay 500-750.00 for this name.

this is one of my favorite names because it has a big future being
printed in books as the publishing company.

desktop publishing was the big thing in the 90s but its died now, page layout got
embedded into the word processors, so the value is with offline commerce.

$1.5K

Well, let's take stock of things. I posted this name for appraisal at 3 different forums. The values ranged from $500 to...$250K (I'm not making that last number up).

While I'm pretty certain it's not worth $250K, I'm also pretty certain it is worth more than $500 to a retailer.

Thanks for your help, and if anyone else wants to take a swing at this, feel free.
