Found two domains that get about 40 type ins a month well that what overture says. Should I get them also would the traffic be more than what overture says. Also how much are they worth?

40 hits a month is not that much. Also you have to take a closer look at the stats just in case someone was typing the name multipe times in Overture last month. YUou just never know with such small numbers.

The actual type-ins are probably higher than overture stat.

first ask yourself why anyone would actually type in lesbian-s

It is very difficult to get the right data from overture type ins.
It is possible to manipulate searches, especially if someone
wants to sell a domain like lesbian-s.com.
You can only hope that he had some links and was se listed.

On the other side, under normal circumstances, the number of searches including tld should roughly translate into daily hits.
If Overture says a monthly search for xxdomain.com was 1000,
you should expect about 30 times more direct url type-ins, so
the easiest way is to see the result as daily hits.
I have also registered a few of such domains, one of them being
FarmToyShow.com, showing for October about 30 hits, however
nothing in November.
The problem is that the most famous US farm toy show was held
in the very beginning of November, so after that the interest decreased. I have no problem with that as many other shows are held during the whole year.
And I guess the estimation is still OK as I had more then 50
type-ins for the last 17 days. The site is still undeveloped.
I'll try to put toy shop there asap.
