I've been asked a few times by people asking me what the average RPM is for certain types of domains running on our system. I only break out certain domain types so I can't do this for everything but here are the ones I've been asked about:
Adult RPM $30.30
Gambling RPM $309.90
This is the average for every domain on the system and includes all traffic and not just US traffic. The RPMs would be much higher especially on the Gambling traffic if 3rd world countries was filtered out of these results. It would probably be in the 4 digits. I also could remove a handfull of domains that just don't perform and the numbers would also be much higher but these are real world numbers averaged on the system. If your traffic is high quality you will obviously do better.
These results are taken from 10-1 to 10-23 (today).
