Went after NNetwork.com. Top bid was $25.00 which made absolutely no sense! Placed bid with a proxy. This came back: "The domain name that you chose has already been registered." Huh? Can hardly wait to see the new WHOIS!

NameWinner won it last year, and for some reason, they don't remove old bids, so you can't bid on it.

Yep, NW is a little odd that way. Its nice htough.

With domains you aquire you can find out what some1 else bid on it when it dropped..

So you can advertise that when you try to sell the domain.

Nameslave,

Both the Snap and the GoDaddy were taken which mean't (to me) that there was interest. I'm not saying it was worth $1,000's or even $100's but I felt it was worth more than $25. for sure. As a matter of fact, I got excited as hell when I saw $25.!

LOL, Many names that have a snap on them never get a NW bid or get $8.75 ones.

My bet, SnapNames and GoDaddy are well known to the retail market. NameWinner is getting there, but not completely.

There is one guy who wants that domain, he wants it bad. He goes to all resources he knows of, Snap and GoDaddy.

He doesnt know about NW so cant bid.

Just my guess.

I think NW is a little less popular becuase for people starting in Domains or not in the industry, having to give out your CC before you can become a member is a large step.

Especially when they dont know the performance. And NW's site design doesnt give a "proffessional" image, imo

JMHO.
