I am building up a network of sites we'll call it the "phrase net" and I have phrasenet.com.

phrase.net is available (the .com is not) - should I get it and use it?

I'm just thinking when I really start to promote this, people may type in Phrase.net .

Thoughts?

"Phrase" was just an example. :)

I think he was using the word phrase as a wildcard for what the name of his development really is.

As to using the .net - I would say so yes, but you know what's going to happen don't you? Some smartass little domainer will try and sell you the .com when your .net has an alexa rank of xx and you'll end up paying end-user style x,xxx, xxx for it!

Is the .com developed? parked? If you can try to make a deal with the .com owner if you are planning on a project that is important to you.
