How much is this worth?

Right now $825.00 to someone.

This domain was caught by Pool. The auction has yet to end. Thus the obvious question is;

Why are you posting up requesting an appraisal for a domain you do not own.

Yes I know I am bidding on it. And I am wondering what its worth?

In that case the domain is well worth $500,000+
Bid according to my appraisal. ;)

Wow, you guys on this board really are not very helpfull. I guess I heard wrong about this place.

:-(

Thats really good question

Sigh, I am just trying to find out how much I should bid for this domain name. I dont really know much about domain value and I didnt want to over pay.

You guys make it seem like I am asking for top secret information though.

Blaze, I suggest asking info like this in the misc forum instead, as this forum is only for domains you own.

I'm usually not an ass, and am enthused to help users, *however*. The way I see it; We're not your mommy and daddy here. Use your own discretion in domain auctions and acquisitions. If you cannot evaluate the worth/market value of a domain, perhaps this is the wrong business for you? I mean you cannot expect us to sit here holding your hand for every domain auction you participate in.

Thereafter you make the purchase we can guide you with some development tips, and or an appraisal. Otherwise, prior to the actual purchase of the domain, do not post.

Give him a break, it’s obvious he’s new here and just made a mistake, know one’s perfect!

No harm was intended by his post he was mealy looking for a bit of advise as to how much he should pay. OK you shouldn’t put up domains for appraisal you don’t own, I guess he overlooked reading the rules prior to posting, I’m sure most of us made mistakes during are ‘newbie fever’ period.

Some members here really should be a bit more welcoming to new members as they help ensure the future of DNF which I’m sure none of want to loose.

Welcome to the board Blaze77.

We're not faulting his 'forum follies'. I honestly do not care where a post is, and what forum it should be located in. What I do care about is newbies taking the easy way out. In efforts of getting decisions made for them on a cookie cut platter.

You want the domain? Know it's market value. And or at the least the Max amount you want to spend. No one said this would be easy. It's a business. I've taken chances, and purchased domains for $15k-$20k each. I didn't second guess my decisions. Why? Because I know the market.

If you can't stand the heat get out the kitchen. Same goes for domains, if you can't afford the risk. Don't take it!

lets put it this way....the domain is worth $800-$1000

does that help solve the problem?
