This is nothing new.

Any solid traffic name will usually go to one of the guys that have the deepest pockets.

We all know who they are so no reason to name them.
They can afford to overpay for a name because it's just a drop in the bucket.

The game is all but over if you are a "small guy" looking to score a name like that. But don't feel too bad, travelquest.com has a Trademark and I would not touch it. If it was a clean name, it probably would have gone for much more that 6k..

I suggest that you all check the WHOIS, which shows that WUF.NET's registrar of record is eNom.

I can't speak to why Pool thinks that they own it.
