It's just an application that takes certain parameters, like TLD, length of name, if it's 1 or more words etc, places a value to each and calculates the total 'value'. There is no universal method of evaluating a domain, unfortunately.

are any of the software titles out there any good? I mean, I dont see how these programs can re-adjust to market trends and things like that.
