Your not supposed to sell .com, net or org for profit either...The fine print has the same clause...

Actually, you're not suppose to sell names to the trademark holder (if any) for amounts in excess of your out of pocket costs.

You are not supposed to have registered a name for the sole purpose of resale. But we know a bunch of people did. I did not.

I have never sold a biz, but have bought several. This one was acquired from a registrar that owned it directly.

WIPO has held up that you can change your mind on development and sell for the highest amount you can get. Or, you can develop it and offer it for sale as well.

Well, I'm going to sell this one, but want an appraisal first.

You put a name for appraisal, and people try to give you legal advice, lol.

I like this name. I sold a few .biz, this one, for a web developer could be real nice. .BIZ is my least favorite extension.

Maybe try for $200

It's got 50 typeins for the .com...which is a plus
It's got 2.8 mil for exact match "Source Code" on google.

My feeling is that the coders of the world will get smarter as time goes on and profit individually from their efforts. Gone will be the days of "code farms" at corporate HQ.

So my feeling this name would actually be worth quite a bit to someone who will stand to make millions in the future.

As far as a current appraisal, my guess is 1K - 1500K right now. The sky's the limit in a year or two.
