Hi Domainers,

What months do you sell most of your domains? It seems to me that domaining is very seasonal.

I noticed at Flippa, sales start to slow down during May and are very slow for June, July and August.

Then with the Holidays, sales are slow for late November, December and January.

Are there really only a handful of months per year that domain sales are at their peak? And what months are they . . . Sept., Oct., Feb., March, April and maybe May?

So in your experience, is it difficult to sell domains at Marketplaces (Flippa, Sedo, etc.) for at least half of the year . . . with only the above months being prime for sales?

Let me know what your experience has been.

Thanks!

There are sales in all months, however Summer is generally slower.

Web traffic goes down across the board.

it depends on the quality of your domain names really...if it is a super premium domain there is no difference in seasons you have as much chance of selling it in the summer as you do in any other time of the year...if it is a medium or low quality domain name then be prepared to sit out the summer without any offers at all...
