Its offered at $20,000, not $50 million?

That is way too much for the name anyway, a lot of people list domains for insane prices buit they will never sell. Just go and have a look on Ebay.

Im sure you could get low to mid xxx for it a in a few years when NFC/mobile payments are the norm

I disagree and here is the reference why:

"Now under exclusive contract with domain Broker/ Entrepreneur Mr. Kevin Faler, Owner Mr. Kevin Davis, a domainer mogul has set the asking price of a whopping $50,000,000 for this premium domain name! I must say this is the Grand Daddy domain name of the century, “SwipeYourPhone.com!” This domain name is mentioned thousands of times in articles strewn all over the internet world-wide and in over 100 languages, as it goes viral spinning out of control! Let’s look at some statistics shall we? NFC anticipates that NFC-enabled mobile phones will reach 863 million units in 2015. Mobile Payments are expected to exceed $1.13 trillion by 2014. Any company who purchases this awesome domain name will win as when you do the math the sales price investment will be paid back with in months of the sales date. So then, as you can see do we say more? Swipe Your Phone will debut in San Francisco and New York later this month creating a frenzy all across America! Swipe Your Phone will undoubtedly change the world for evermore ............................."

You might want to take a look at the recent mobile payment startups. They're not called Swipe Your Phone. They're mostly brandable names or generic one or two word names. Google calls their payment service Wallet (set to launch next month).

Here are some of the better names that could be bought for fraction of $50,000,000.
Swipe.com
Payment.com
Purse.com

Did swipeyourcard.com sell for millions? No

Edit: If this is your auction then this belongs in External Auctions

Two things:

Which one of the two people referenced are you?
And Mr Giles Coley is correct.

I would also like to add I found great pleasure in reading/seeing these point made in the press release...

a domainer mogul
Grand Daddy domain name of the century

the sales price investment will be paid back with in months

Great!

I first read this and thought it was going to be a list of the Most Popular Phone Models Stolen, just like the automobile list.

He's dreaming Im afraid, this tech will be huge, I dont doubt that for a second, but I dont think that sort of name will do well, check all the mobile payment companies and see what sort of names they use? Brandable, short and precise names. I mean I have SwipePhone(s).com but this is more aimed at the phone product rather than a mobile payment start-up company

Good luck with your name. I hope you prove me wrong.

You mean a la Vonage, i.e Swipage.com or Swipeage.com
