5 days to go and already 20 000 pounds .... nice going man

Cheers Guys.
I have BIG credit card bills! I won't be seeing a penny!
Unless another enduser gets involved! :pray2:

I was just looking at t h i s t l e g o l f .com
What a beautiful site they have. What a golfcourse too & they sell realty!!
This would be a snip for them.
Sent a mail anyway.
Here's hoping. If it fulfills it's potential in just under 6 days, the drinks & hookers may just be on me at the next Traffic auction!!!!!!!!! :tape2:
See you there! :bounce:
Predator

Good luck, could go a long way - a couple of motivated endusers and mid to upper xx,xxx sterling.

I'll have a virgin mary :thumb:

Hi,
maybe best getting appraisal from Brits on this, or people who have been to UK.
www.Thistle.com Thistle is the National Emblem of Scotland & is used for everything from National Football team, to Rugby, to Tourism emblem etc
Regged '94

pred ... no longer at reserve at sedo - whats the deal?

Yeah price went down to 15K from 20K?

I wondered about that too..the increments were 5k I thought that was unusual..whats going on with that?

Pred

A great domain Thistle hotels?

I wouldnt seel for less that 40k could go over 60k

OB

Very nice name Pred :-)
£25k ($50k) wouldn't be too shabby!
I'd expect it to go for more though.
Good luck!

hmm..I think its a name that is very limited geographically, so I would be surprised if it goes for that much, but best of luck to you..

i am surprised it even goes for that much right now, I think little country names like Bhutan and sanMarino went for about that money this year, compared to that its kinda high..

Guys,
we started another link here
http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?p=1005282#post1005282
Anyway, thought i'd update ...........
spoke to sedo today & apparently you can withdraw a bid within an hour of making it?
So they say.anyway, so it is accurate. It's what the buyer did.To be fair sedo were very helpful & their brokers do actively sometimes approach endusers which is interesting & reassuring to know!
Fingers crossed.
Pred :yo:

sorry to hear they were able to withdraw their bid man, but since this is an appraisal thread, let get back to it, I think you should ask sedo to contact the bidder if the reserve is not met and take the 15K offer, I dont care what people say here with no money anyway because everybody likes to appraise high which is easy if you are not the buyer, but even 15K is a really good offer and higher than I have seen a lot of .coms (that are better IMO) go for in the last couple of months..

Okay, just updating thread....
Thistle.com
Domain transferred. Money exchanged. Done deal.
Thankyou sedo...good job.
Sold for £20,000 in end. Just met reserve.
Hopefully we should see on dnjournal next week
Thanks,
Predator
