That is a very insulting comment to make. Thunayan personally formulates the concept for each FMA website and then painstakingly develops them into something special. He literally works around the clock to acheive the success he is having with his sites. Your statement implies that he deserves no credit for his hard work and success.

Certainly he was able to recognize and acquire some great domain properties, but a lot of great properties are poorly developed or sit completely unused. He is one of the builders who is actually taking good names and making great sites.

Some of us come up with the capital to get started through savings, investments, working two jobs or even using credit cards. Some may have been able to borrow venture capital or inherit money. Whatever the case may be, lots of money does not gaurantee you are going to be a wild success of the internet. Just look at all of the "bubble era" internet companies that had money to burn and now have nothing left but the matchsticks.

Try giving credit where credit is due rather than letting jealousy cause you to slander a kind and unpretentious individual who wants to do nothing but make the internet better.

My statement was completely true and in no way slanderous as slander is the spoken word. What you wrote regarding my post is libel and your assumption of my post is incorrect.

Yes, of course. However, Greg collects a $49.95 filing fee from the plaintiff. :)

LOL, could be a new money-spinner. Maybe a DNF court where a judicial committee can hear both sides of an argument and impose DNF$ fines. If the fine exceeds your DNF$ worth, it's off to jail you go, without passing GO :D

Now my minds working in overdrive...how about a DNF version of Monopoly, with the best domain names on the expensive streets etc, and instead if building houses and hotels on them , they get developed into websites etc etc

Really? I didn't know Monopoly used different streets for the UK version - but it makes sense. Mediterranean and Baltic are the first two properties as you pass Go - the skid row district where rent is like $2. :)

Comparative Street Names on Versions of Monopoly Boards

AMERICAN: Boardwalk, Park Place, Marvin Gardens
BRITISH: Mayfair, Park Lane, Piccadilly
GERMAN: Schlossallee, Parkstrasse, Goethestrasse
FRENCH: Rue de la Paix, Champs Elysees, Rue Lafayette
SPANISH: Paseo del Prado, Paseo del la Castellana, Plaza de Espana

I think there's also an Australian version, and most probably versions for many other countries.

Park Place = Excite @Home
Boardwalk = Yahoo!
Pacific Ave = Ask Jeeves

In 99, DNForum was just a glimmer in the eye of then 13 yr old Dan.

Hard to believe that this place is still less than a year old.
