Have had some inquiries on this one, never developed it, curious to hear opinions.

Thanks,

I think there is an upside and a downside to marketing this name aggressively right now. On the one hand its value is likely to be highest within the next few months. On the other hand you'd face some flack for profiting from the recent disaster. You are probably getting a lot of type-ins right now, so putting it some place like Sedo without listing a price may make the most sense. You'd be getting PPC, and making it available for sale without obviously looking to profit from the misery of others.

Type-ins will drop off for two reasons. The tsunami will be out of the news, and it is not an easy word to spell. It is probably worth more now than it will be at any other point, but the potential buyer might be a U.N. relief organization, so you probably wouldn't want to play hardball on price.

It's actually a very interesting (and tricky) situation.

I agree with everything healingsites said.
If you are able I suggest forwarding the domain to one of the legitimate tsunami relief sites.

names registered to capitalize on current news events only have value for the moment the events are active in news reports......after that they are worthless!

get the ppc money while you can, or sell to the best offer now.

I can I wish I owned this domain (so I could reach more people).

The best thing that anyone can do in a disaster is to think about how to help the people who are in need. Period.

Put a URL forward to a reputable tsunami relief charity or sell to someone who will ONLY use to domain to help those in need.

I do not know how anyone in the midst of this horrible disaster could do any different.

Hundreds of thousand of people have died.

And the survivors are enduring hell.

Think of them.
