For Sale Ult Search Drops?

A couple days ago I picked up a couple drops that were formerly owned by Ult Search:

linuxwebmaster.com
linuxwebmasters.com

While these names aren't huge, I would say they are still of excellent quality- especially if I ever get that consulting business started that I've always wanted to do.

Anyway, I was just wondering how often do we find Ult, and for that matter BuyDomains, dropping their names? And do you have a personal experiences with any names? Anything huge?

I guess I just assumed that once names were swallowed up by these people, that they where never to be found open again.

No Ultsearch still drops names. I have seen some good ones come down the pipes but I'd rather not say which ones. I put together a list of all their names this past fall. You can find the thread in the related offers forum or PM me.

BuyDomains is renewing even their crappy .biz and .info names (yes they have a few).

Yes UltSearch chases traffic names. And I have noticed they have been allowing some good domains that have no traffic drop.

He drops quite a few.

They do drop domains, I picked define.net which dropped by buydomains.com.

I also picked some domains from ultsearch.com.

Is there a way of knowing which domains they are letting go?

As stated ultsearch does drop names that don't have any traffic, some decent ones can be picked up from them that do have resale value.

Although, they also havea tendency to renew a domain on the last day before expiration also, just to crush what was left of your heart.

Exactly. They are dropping domains which have no typein traffic. However they are keyword rich and some of them could be good domains for development.

Well some domains with the buydomains maybe just domains that were bought from them but never used and now dropping.
eg: BIOESTHETICDENTIST.ORG, NEWZFLASH.ORG...

Names that Pool caught and decided not to keep for whatever reason.

With registrar partners one will generally be able to delete a domain and get a full refund within serveral days.


Most likely these domains were unpaid.

Some are still not regged.

Also about buydomains. These also could be resellers using bd's nameservers dropping names.
