Well I will have to completely retract my original statement. Denny was completely right to reply in that manner. There was absolutely no need to call someone a dick for no reason. I'm surprised Denny even acknowledged him.
 
Yeah, it's funny the guy thinks he can talk smack to people and be obnoxious, but when he someone gives it right back to him he has to come here to the forum and act like he has done nothing wrong.

It's funny he has not come back to say anything.
 
It's therapy for a domain owner/seller to respond like this at times, but if you are going to be put in the position of therapist make sure you get paid :)
 
I think Denny got better end of the bargain, he gained access to a forum by yelling at someone. :lol:

I was really hoping to hear from Joellefko...

you know...IMO 1k was not a terrible initial offer...although 3k would have been more like it...and LOL was not an awful response...it tells me that there is someone there who may be interested in selling who is laughing at my initial offer...not the worst thing...How you respond to the LOL is how the negotiation will go...and it is how it went.

I think Denny took it easy on him.
 
Denny's initial offer when he bought it was $2,222. Also a lowball apparently from what I've read here. And looky, low and behold, a sale was made! (Even if it was for more than the name is worth.) :lol:
 
Not really, NameGuy.

Denny bought the name a few years ago. 2.2K a few years ago is not nearly as lowball at 1K is THIS YEAR.

Well it was on Sedo, where the guy listed it with intent to sale. While now the domain is not for sale (parked and without link "contact us", not listed anywhere for sale). Also at that time prices where much lower than now (despite current recession).

Basically I never want to sell my domains, it is not my business model, so if someone wants buy my domain he must offer crazy sum. Not expect that everyone is like him - willing to sell anything.
