Start a DomainAlert service (GoDaddy). :-D

Could start a service where you can manage people portfolios & alert them when their names expire, whois changes etc..

Other ideas.... alerts on names they may like which they can choose KW's & then they are emailed daily with names with their KW's in them.

Just some thoughts. :-D

Might want to start a service like http://www.googlealert.com/ , I find it quite useful.

could check sites every x hours and notify if the site is down,
this ties in more with 'URL' than 'domain', as it tests the DNS and
hosting.
