I would love to hear some appraisals.
133,439 overture searches last month and
127,000,000 results in Google.
I estimate $7500-$10,000, if you are play your cards right.
Pure type-in names are difficult to find, and book sales online are one of the few successful industries over the past 10 years.
You should research the hell out of the used book industry and prepare to market the name.
If I were you I would put together a marketing package consisting of a clean brown folder, with clear, crisp inserts which you could use to describe the increase of website traffic over the past 10 years, how books are purchased online, comparisions of your name to others, etc.... You get the drift. You might also want to include a self-serving writeup and analysis of the domain name. That would be easy. Discuss the type-in value. Explain what Overture searches and google results are. Blah Blah Blah.
Then, send that mailing out to 50 and 500 used bookstores. That will cost you anywhere from 300-500 dollars to do the mass mailing.
You should get a few serious bites if you do your homework and make a clean presentation. A response of 5% would be good.
Good luck.
