I do not recommend selling at an auction if you want to get the most value out of your name. Wait for end user to approach, or go out looking for them.

depends on traffic, if you're getting
10 hits a day - $20K
100 hits a day - $100K

the only way you'll get mid $xxx, xxx is if its developed into a virtual world site, and
for that you'll need high traffic (100 hits a day or more) PLUS a few years growth after
its developed.

it could be a big portal in the virtual worlds market, but the name alone isn't worth
that much

Bring out your dead!

Ok, I am still running the site for my Virtual World business, and it generates about 15,000 hits a month.

The site has been around and 'in the same business' for many years.

A great name. I can see a travel agency, online encyclopedia, or just about any end user that Wants it spend $75,000 - $150,000. Before this economic crunch, it might have gotten up to $250,000 (gotta find the big pockets for this one....Stanley Ho maybe ? )
