what does banned mean

i just noticed mocus was banned- account term'ed- what does that mean? did he do something bad? he seems so nice ;-(

didnt see that- wasnt looking for info on who was banned- just didnt know what it meant exactly- i still saw him posting- so i didnt know how someone could be banned, and still post- and i still have no idea what this has to do with little boys-
just wanted a simple answer to what banned meant- thanx gt

He isn't still posting. It will show banned on all of his posts, which were put up before the ban.
