What does "RESERVED" mean in the WhoIS for .INFO names?

I'm looking at buying a .INFO name from a reseller.

But, BetterWhois says that the name is RESERVED.

?

It's names that Afilias has reserved for itself, for country names etc.
Have a look at http://www.afilias.com/whois_search/reserved_names
I cannot see how these names can be offered for sale, though I have seen stranger things happening in the Info world.

I am following quite closely what is happening to these reserved words and those that are still locked. Would you maybe like to let me know what the name is and who offered it to you? I may have some more information. You can PM or email me.

Hans

No, it's not one of the reserved names...

It seems that BetterWhois.com calls every registered name, "reserved."

I assume this is to make it easy to understand...

They should say "Registered", definitely, but what're ya gonna do?
