I once had a bid for $499 but the reserve wasn't met on ebay. The person had 0 feedback and was from some unknown country. Sounded like a fraud.

I usually collect domains for development. But a recent one I sold was for $50. Not much, but ahh well. Sites sell for more. :-)

For a single domain? I guess my regret is that if I WAS willing to sell lower back in the "good old days", I would have got more 5-figure sales than I do now. Of course, I always envy those who hit 6 digits.

Domain names are valuable for many reasons. You know the saying; 'One man's garbage is another man's gold.'

Plus, that was 1999, when venture capital flowed like honey.

$1.5k for stock-broker.com is way too low. Move the decimal point one notch to the right, add 3 years to your registration term, lock it and sit on it...
