i doubt that 99% of the mobis get any significant real traffic, any traffic that is there right now is even promotional traffic or just plain fake, this can certainly change in the future, but right now an unpromoted site that claims to have traffic like many that seem to have good traffic on Sedo,
...it seems that some mobi investors start creating some traffic for their mobis as the investments have not paid of yet, I think thats a bad road to go down because it will hurt all mobis and will compromise mobi as a serious tld IMO

I doubt that any mobis get significant traffic, just like the vast majority of all names, .com included. But like I said, if this month they get a few hits more than last month etc, then I'm happy.

As for 'creating' traffic, I can't speak for anyone else, but I've got better things to do with my time.

The investment not paying off yet? - Read the words of real domain 'investors', guys like Frank Schilling, Rick Schwartz, Monte Cahn. Non of these true professionals ever talk about their investments paying off in the space of a few months...

Undoubtedly, there are some who bought .mobi hoping for a quick return - a small %age of those have been successful. I'm not the only one who has bought with a longer term view.

I'm real surprised about the people getting traffic to .mobi's. I figured it would take a couple of years. I am getting an increased traffic in my "mobi" .coms as the whole 'mobi' name gets a little more known. I still think that quite a few are domainers but it seems there is a lot of traffic from Asia where maybe it is a more known terms. I have only paid reg fee for my .mobi's but I have paid a bit more for my mobi .com's before the .mobi registration opened.

I can guarantee you most of my traffic isn't domainers, but REAL people searching for REAL goodies
It started off as 'sniffers', but as development progressed its turned into the real-deal.I'm exited where this is going to lead! I've never seen such scope for success that .Mobi has brought, and its just the beginnning.
Developing rather than parking is the key!!!
