- custom coded script which offers location information for candy shops in the us
- users surf by shop specialty and then the shops are displayed according to state and shop name
- mod_rewrite is used on all links, making them search engine friendly, and meaningful (like containing the shop name in the url)
- every single shop or speciality page has its own header, meta tags, description differing from other pages
- the site has a search engine coded allowing to search for shops

- The subdomains are all processed through an .htaccess file, all what is needed is a simple dns wildcard in your control panel. not special setups. no expensive renewals for multiple domains. search engines will crawl them faster than having them under one domain.
