Hello,

Just in the past couple of days, my linux hosting accounts no longer are allowed to php mail. Is anyone else having this problem? is there anyway around it. i emailed godaddy and they said they were only allowing their own form mail script which is not very good. i had a reciprocal manager program like the one used on this forum running and it no longer works because it can't email out or check reciprocals. what can i do?

find another host?

I figured that would be most people's answer, but it wouldn't look good if I sell domains and hosting at my WWD reseller site ( www.TopsailDomainsAndHosting ) and I don't use them either. I guess most people wouldn't know though, but I wouldn't feel right pushing something that I didn't use. Too ethical I guess.

"WWD" or "Godaddy" and ETHICS should never ever be used in the same post. They have none.

My take is that hosting SHOULD ALWAYS be done through hosts; just like domain registrations with registrars.

I mean it's not a good idea to put all your eggs in the same basket. Some amateurs even use their ISPs for hosting, but I would recommend buying only from people who KNOW their business well enough to be called professionals. So is GoDaddy a professional web hosting company? I guess many will tell you that they are not even remotely close.

OK, gotcha. Who would you recommend? I know your answer would of course be in your own opinion. I just need some pointers in the right direction.
