Hello all,

My name is Lee from the UK, I am new to this forum (great forum by the way) and am looking for some advice if you would be so kind. Basically, I have just started a new domain reselling business and hope to make some nice profits...

I own a few domains but I am interested in this one in particular 'www.downloadshareware.org' because it is considered a premium domain name with a score of '567' on domainscore.com . This is a very high score and indicates that it has received:

Frequency - 3,310,000
Searches - 76,125

If I was to put it on 'Premium Domain', it would be the third highest score and they are within the good $10,000's.

Please could you advise how much you would predict this domain name is worth?

2. OVT = 1462
3. IMO "shareware download" is more common
4. .ORG (doesn't fit this extension well)

Based on these basic analysis, I would say it is not a "Premium Domain", worth low - mid $xx without development.

Thanks for the reply. I have had it valued at several companies and they believe that it is a TL and Premium domain. The .org shouldn't really matter should it? Virgin.org Tmobile.org are commerical entities that use this suffix. Surely this domain is worth more than $xx?

Also, google returned 29,000,000 results for download shareware.

that this domain is a .org matters a lot actually, also the phrase "download shareware" has about 1.2 Mil. results not 29 million, you always have to use quotes when doing this search..and professional appraisals usually dont have a real significance since all they do is wanna make you feel good about your domains so you order another appraisal..in my opinion this domain is worth $xx maybe low $xxx (100-200) for the right buyer

When searching a phrase on google, you have to search "download shareware" rather than download shareware

Remember to add quotation marks.

Thank you both very much for your comments, it is very helpful. So, for future reference for me, can I conclude that if say I bought www.georgewbush.com and "george w bush" (with quotes) in Google returns 83,800,000, will this domain be worth an absolute fortune? Does the results from Google and a great suffix like .com or .net determine the price?
