Very good one. But with the .org extension, I guess you might want to target not only Vietnamese trade-related but also war/veteran organizations or even individuals. Country domains usually sell, and with Vietnam opening up (very similar to that of China), it's definitely not just another Third World name. I wouldn't go for resellers (whom I frankly don't think they will easily hand out a 5-figure sum); instead, wait for the end-users if possible. Good luck.

I am not against non .com extensions.

.org fits well, but I don't think an end user would approach you to pay 10k for this.

if .info would be promoted well in North America it would do very well.

End users would pay more for .info if they knew it existed..

Nice catch! especially when you have a business there. $10-$15K seems justifiable for reseller. I wouldn't ask less than $20-$30K from end users.

I think that Vietnam.org is around $10-20K only to an end user like a veteran or association but something related to the war, $3K-5K to an end user who considers this name only as a country name.

I bought this domain for me. Many members post 10K worth.
So, I am happy. I paid about US$15,000 for this domain with VietnamGuide.com
15K is end user price. I am end user.
Not for sale except my life bust.

It looks .org registerd 2 days faster than .net in 1995 (VIETNAM2-DOM) NSI WHOIS.
1995, I started Vietnam business.
This country just open and still very tired doing business here for foreigners.
I agree nameslave, .biz, quadtree and other members right comments.

One day, I hope I will be own this .com before retirement from Vietnam business.
Vietnam.com is mid 6 figure. (Comunicate.com own)
Not a dream come true, I can develop non-business site use this .org after retirement from business.
