Yellow Pages Group - anyone buy or sell with them? Have a contact?

BTW - they have a nice portfolio. :ok:

No experience with them, but I would be curious to know any domains you know of in their portfolio. I`m aware from looking into the domain that they own BoxOffice.ca.

Please PM what you are looking for (want to sell them a name?). I have contacts in this industry.

Wait, you have a direct contact to the YPG buyer for domains?

No. I said that I have contacts in this industry because I have among my clients other online directories.

Is it just me that thinks....389 domains that include names like autos.ca and maps.ca for ONLY 2.5 mill is cheap?

That's roughly $6,000 a name...but i mean...those are generics. If he sold 389 generic names for only 2.5 million...i think yellowpages are the ones who won in this deal.

Oh ok I read it as
want to sell them a name
. And assume since you quoted a YPG reference I assumed you ment them. Thank you for clearing that up.

I have a domain/website right in line with their core business model. I don't really want to part with it but I need money for some schmuck's wedding... :-/

The reason why I asked if the OP wanted to sell them a name is because, depending on the domain, I (or my clients) could be interested. I will not say who my clients are, but if you know a little bit the market you can guess. So if you hava a name that could be useful for a local search/online directory, feel free to PM the domain and your asking price. Important: only names with traffic, type-in, from Canada. No typos. Any extension. At least 6 months stats required. An example would be torontopubs.com - but it must have natural traffic.
