What kind of features would you have on a expired domain tool that would make it the best.

there can never be a best, because someone will always make something they say is better or have improved on exisiting

then there is "cost", as in which is best for a price

and out of those that charge a fee, which is best

then there is free, and which is best for free

then.... there's the discussion on whether or not it's "best" to pay or use what's free.

and so on and so on...

fair enough, in that case, besides free, what kinds of things would you want in the tool that WOULD make you pay for it.

I have an idea for the best expired domain software. Something that is fast, automated, and intelligent.

This software would register high volume "exact search" keyword domains for me automatically. Then the software would create websites with unique SEO content. And then build backlinks for me. As I go on vacation and collect money from google adsense and affiliate program.

That my friend would be the best expired domain software, better yet,... the best domaining software ever :)

You don't want the software to print money too? Seems like it'd be easier.

There are plenty of tools already, that more or less offer the same features.

I guess some domainers would pay for software that would spot the domains with the most promising expired traffic, but I think that already exists.
Besides, if you find a good money-making idea, why not keep it to yourself ?
To some extent, I think charging for such services is legitimate but like the online equivalent of selling picks and shovels to gold diggers.

I think a service like freshdrop is among the more expensive ones (less than $100/month I think). So if domainers balk at paying $100/month, that means they are cheap or there isn't that much money in the game. Or you are going to need a large subscriber base to make it worthwhile.

Maybe I would pay the sites to shut down and eliminate all my competition :cheesy:

More seriously I am not sure what can be done that doesn't already exist.
I would maybe pay for certain ccTLD lists, or 'invisible' stuff.

It already exists. It's called running a TLD registry.

Interesting how nobody mentions Hardware.

The problem is even building your own tool is not the cost of the actual build but the data feeds cost a small fortune for the full monty thats why freshdrop is a rip off and considering the cost their support is garbage and would not recommend that all.
