3 Character .com - is it accurate?

What is everybody's opinion on the value that 3Character .com puts on the minimum values of 3 character domains? http://www.3character.com/price-guide.html

Do you find that you can get names at these prices? Do you have to pay more / less?

For example, can you get a LLL.com for $19,100? Can you get a L-L.com name for $4500?

Just curious as to what others think of this info.

I just did a quick search at namebio to see what the latest reported sale prices on 3 letter .coms . I was rather surprised to see that quite a few were being sold around the $20000-$22000 range but it seems $30K may be the average. I remember when I bought a 3 letter .com years ago for like $400 & resold it for something like $700. Oops! I could have held on to it for another 13 years & got $20000+ more. I also use to own something like 300+ 3 character .coms (not 3 letter) which I sold long ago mostly in the mid $XX range. Oops again! I miss the old days when you could pick these up on drops & pay only registration fees. One day I registered around 180 of them.

I can relate Larry. Used to buy LLL coms here for 600 and flip for 1100-1500. I even scooped a NNN com for 400 and flipped for 1000. Now those are 110,000 (!!) According to 3 character .com?!?!? Geez. Missed 109,000 worth of profit there.

Back in the good old days I remember the prices on 3 character being a little on the low side. I understand that the info there is supposed to be wholesale with trash letters..... but was curious if that was a good starting point now that I am getting back in the domain name game.

I sold a package of 92 LLN.com for $150 each in 2013...
Looking back, I feel stupid now.

As for LLL.com's at this stage I feel most are owners are not selling them in anticipation of future increases.
