I believe he made the plunge to sell TVâs.
Do you have global stats showing 3D being popular in sales? Not movie stats because I feel that 3D does not add much to a movie and even a movie like Avatar would have been just as successful without 3D and that was by far the best 3D movie I have seenâ¦.and it was still annoying
I like how you left this part out and did not address it:oh dear Diabro, you arguments dont hold any water anymore, its the same thing every post
Send me your email and I will set up some google alerts for you with all the 3D news/products, that will convert you lol
feel free to post all my terrible names if you must, I have some names that mayb arent as strong as my signature names, but I dont feel I have these "bad" names as you call them
Can't believe you use the "3D has failed for over 50 years" arugment, you know as well as I do this is different, they didnt have cameras, camcorders, phones , home projectors etc 50 years ago either
Wrong, the cameras and all the other 3D tech have been in the pipeline for a long time, if you research it and set up some alerts, you will see that, TV's were just the first products released
I like this bit, lets get some stats, but lets leave out the "movies" because thats doing really well lol....millions of people didnt find it annoying though :cheesy:
My argument is finished here, its pointless
I wont reply anymore Diabro, I promise, let me know if you want those 3D alerts![]()
So you have done this before with developing technology? You are right, I havent made any money from 3D names, anyone selling decent 3D names now is selling them far too early, I get offers (highest being 7.5K) on my names every week so I am not making any money by choice...its all about patience with developing technology
For three years, many said... Blu-Ray is the next Betamax![]()
No, HD-DVD was (or what was it called?)
Betamax' main downfall was Sony's refusal to share the technology. VHS came out and many companies shared it.
So you have done this before with developing technology?
Really? So you have made a lot of money domaining with these new technologies? Example? And past sales with emerging technologies?
Many times....
I knew if I gave you enough rope lol
remember Laser Discs?
heh heh heh![]()
Mini-discs. Epic.I worked for someone who wrote a directory for music-based laser discs (I did all the work, he got all the credit).
How about Mini-discs? (I almost bought one of these - it was the last time I came close to buying "brand new" technology).
Of course, if you really want to talk about great innovations that didn't last:
The Commodore 1702 / 1703 monitor. Not only did it have the hookups for the PC in the back, it had AV (non stereo) RCA jacks in the front - you could hook up a VHS player, NES, etc. The ability to add a second SID chip into the C=64 was also short lived. It gave 6 voices instead of 3 (for great music). A C=64 with two SID chips could rival first and second generation Sound Blaster cards.
The Samsung M100 (a.k.a. Uproar) was the very first cell phone (in the USA) that played MP3s. It had room for about 1 CD's worth of music. With the right cables you could even hook it up to a car stereo (I remember hooking it up to a customer's DeLorean). The phone was great but when it was discontinued there wasn't another MP3 phone to be seen for years (the M100 was sold from about 1999-2001/2002).
Sony Mavica 91 - This camera was a great camera plus Io think it was one of the first to take videos. It alos had a 3'5" floppy drive built in so you could take pictures and store them on the disc - swap the disc and start again. It was also the first one to have removable media. Sadly, it wasn't long before far less expensive cameras start to come with SD card slots. The price tag scared a lot of people away despite the fact that it was a great camera.
So you have made a lot of money domaining with these new technologies? Example? And past sales with emerging technologies
I am not a 3D fan but I have a couple of 3D domains. The problem is if someone says anything slightly negative you get over the top, foaming at the mouth, defensive.Yes really, not millions, but I have made enough to pay the bills?...Its not really any of your business, and to be honest, whether you believe it or not, doesnt matter to me....
I think you are closet "3D" fan Diabro, why esle would you be on here, havent you got stuff to do, instead of just shooting other people's ideas down
Whatever you say..The problem is if someone says anything slightly negative you get over the top, foaming at the mouth, defensive.

I really do not know what the problem is here. People want informed intelligent discussion until it does not agree with them.As you know you get them on every forum with every extension with every product and every idea. I think they are just bored and feel this gives them something they are missing in their lives.
There are a lot of bad domains in this thread and feel sorry for the people making these stupid purchases.
**BREAKING NEWS**
3D.com delivers an amazing pitch for its domain name
"Back in July, Mike Berkens of The Domains wrote a story entitled The Next BIG Thing Is 3D: Who Owns Best Domains? The story examined who owned some of the best 3D domain names. In his article, Mike Berkens says the 5 Star domain in the 3D space is 3D.com, which at the time of the story was parked at Network Solutions.
That has changed.
3D.com is no longer parked and now delivers an amazing presentation as to why companies should combine 3D.com with their marketing programs. "
