It has been probably 6 weeks since I visited this thread and
OH HOW ATTITUDES HAVE CHANGED !!!!
I got whipped, beaten, ostricized and given lectures by some in here about 3D domains and how they would not be of any REAL VALUE.
In taking the blinkers off hopefully these people will realize that 3D is NOT JUST ABOUT TELEVISION - 3D Computers (including Laptops), 3D Cameras and 3D Phones will be in stores in 2011. So maybe as a novice domainer who has confidence in the value of 3D I could be wrong in suggesting that some of these names will be quite valuable -
when the 3D market MATURES - names like 3Dcomputers3D dotcom (3Dcomputers is owned by a company in the U.K. who have had it for many years, their business is in hitech computer development, nothing to do with consumer products) - and someone has 3Dcomputers - so I figure that the second best 3D consumer products name for a computer site still available is 3Dcomputers3D dotcom. Yes / No, who has an opinion? (yes I own it). So if 3D Computers will be available how valuable will names related to 3D Monitors and Screens and Graphics Cards (yes I have those covered as well, and laptops, and cameras and camcorders).
There are posts in here about ESPN and 3D - they weren't interested in some of my 3D Sports names when I approached them 2 months ago however as much as they may be the biggest they are not the only sports network around. Taking 3D Computers into account then there will be HUGE audiences online to watch 3D Sport, whether live streaming or watching highlights, replays etc - that is where the big money will be, not cable - some content will be free but just like cable many computer sports sites will also have pay for view - no arguements about what cannel to watch on TV - see your favourite sports in 3D on your computer. I think 3DSportsPortal will be another good name for me down the track a bit.
Stores here in Australia cannot get enough stock of 3D Televisions and there is no bloody content to watch bar a few movies on DVD !!! It is an enormous market out there when the blinkers are off. Well I think so anyway, that's why I have about 900 or so 3D "consumer products" names. There was a stampede to Apple stores recently when the new iphone was released - can you imagine the enormity of the stampede when iphone (and others) are available with a 3D screen??
Anyway, I have said enough for now - Vijaya, I have commented to you before, I like some of your 3D names and your attitude (great minds think alike), your names will make you some nice money soon. (p.s. I have 3DTVHomeTheater 3DHomeTheaterFHD , 3DMoviesFHD, 3DMoviesBluray etc etc all dotcoms
cheers,
Mike

Vijaya, good to see you have 3DMonitor.co.uk. 3D Computers will be HUGE, bigger than 3D Television - some are already in production (smaller specialized companies - the big companies are not far behind). So any names you can get (make up) for computers, peripherals etc will make money (same goes for cameras, camcorders, phones etc) - I have accumulated about 900 or so in dotcoms and about 600 in dot com.au over the past 3 months so I reckon I am now 3D EXHAUSTED

My advice for what it is worth is for anyone who has any grain of entrenpreneur in him or her to acquire (create) as many 3D names as you can and hold on to them for about a year or so by which time you will have companies chasing you.
Keep an eye out for dropped domains as well - I picked up CELL3D dotcom last week for USD80 - how many 3D CELL PHONES will be sold Globally?
So Vijaya - Onwards and Upwards
cheers, Mike
p.s. have a look at the FOX below - it is one of my sites - it will give you an idea of the confidence I have in 3D - if you navigate around properly you will also see that I have the fox in co.uk
