Just wondering how many different registrars you use to house all your domains. Do you stick to one, or do you just go around registering wherever the latest deals are?

I have around 100 domains, about 80 are at godaddy, 5 at namecheap, and about 15 .co.uk's which are at UKReg.

However I'm thinking of transferring my domains at NameCheap to GoDaddy so basically I have all my domains in one place, my UK ones kept at UKreg though as they're better for UK...

Anyone else do this or do you have yours scattered across multiple registrars?

i use more than 7 registrars
but most of the names are with moniker and godaddy

I use about 6 registrars, mostly with godaddy and wwd...

mine are scattered around from buying and taking pushes , I reg new names at fabulous.

most of my names are scattered at different registrars majority of which are at domainsite, godaddy and inwx. I would like to consolidate them at one central registrar in the near future.

Using like four of them, but i haveing all my valued domains transfered to Moniker asap.

i got most of mine at enom resellers i spread the rest out those are the mainly the ones i buy and resell quickly

Enom is my fav but I think I have one domain at every register on the planet. LOL.
Most of my IDN's are with Domainsite
I have a few with NS because of Snapnames drops
Couple at Website.in, some at Monikor,idotz.net,Namescout,Godaddy & Polydomain... The list is endless. LOL. Soon there will be a better way to track it. Cheers,

Acro

currently at 6 registrars. But every time I think this is the last time I am opening an acocunt at a registrar, I invariably end up buying a name and as it turns out the owner has the domain at a registrar where I dont hold an account.
So I end up opening a new one just to save the trsfr fees. lol

I guess there isnt an end to it. Though as someone mentioned above I do the new registartions at namecheap.

you folks should consider consolidating to one registrar. It is dangerous to have names at more than one. Each has different delete and expiration policies, different interfaces, different support and security levels.

We can help you if you are interested.

I have my domains in 4 different registrars...but as MonikerMan says...we must try to consolidate them in one... i will check the offers made here by Moniker...and transfer all the domains there...

I've got all mine (about 125) at 1and1 except for one at GoDaddy. It's easier, just like Mr. Cahn said, to figure out the nuances at your particular registrar.

Agreed with Monte that it's best to have all of your names at one place. I *try* to get everything over to eNom but since I purchase names that get pushed from different registrars, and it's not always easy or possible to transfer out names right away, so getting and keeping them consolidated is a big task.

I actually have domain names in 5 registrars and will sign up with others to
understand how many, if not all, work. It's a choice I made.

But I definitely agree consolidating your domain names with one registrar is a
darn good move, especially to one you're most comfy with. And among the 5
and growing, Moniker's one of 2 on my top list. :-)
