I think transfering names out from Moniker will not solve our problems , it will create only new problems . Why to transfer out names from a registrar who have exellent for us during many years ? I'll stick with them yet

They have not been excellent in the past couple of years. Quite the opposite.
I transfered most of my domains out. And will transfer more.

I will stick with the world's most secure registrar until otherwise is proven. The real risk is transferring domains out of Moniker imo.

Why is Moniker being dragged into this? The only thing that have with Snapnames now is that since earlier this year they were both part of Oversee.

The bulk of this happened when Moniker wasn't affiliated with Oversee.
Moniker doesn't own or run Snapnames nor vice versa.

Will Oversee rebrand itself as 'Overlook', or Overseas or Overseize... :D

Oversight is just fine :)
Seriously, all that is not so surprising, I know for a fact that when you work in the IT department you can do a lot of things, you are GOD.
If I wanted I could intercept all E-mails within the company, fake a lot of stuff and increase my salary. Nelson had full control over the system and he was trusted so he could cover his tracks.
Never trust IT people

I agree with Gregory, I had a bowel movement today and John M. called to see if he could lower my sewage rate.

Ok, now I just feel neglected, LOL. I've done transfers this big in the past from Moniker and this is the first time they contacted me to find out why I was transferring away.

Could it be something more than just a coincidence that the two executives left the company recently?

Just curious if they knew something

Anyone knows when they are going to restore all the auction history?. I just get to see auction history from 2007.

This shouldn't be a reason to move your names out of Moniker unless it comes to light that Moniker employees became involved in the crime.

which 2, Petros?

Does anyone here know Nelson personally outside the domain name business? Does he lead an extravagant lifestyle? Could he have exorbitant recurring medical bills for himself or a family member. Knowing why he did this may give us reasons to show him some compassion.

Huh? Where is the confusion?

Moniker's market place is snapnames...do you think they did not see the Halvarez BS as about 100 domainers did here on the forum over the past few years? And they joined forces under the same company?

Does anybody know if halvarez participated on any of the TRAFFIC/Moniker auctions ?
They better come out clean...
This is the same guy behind the Auction plataform...
why not?

I understand the reaction, but there is a difference between your savings in a bank and a domainname that you hold. Could you describe the scenario that would lead to losing your domain names? I don't see why a bonafide customer would lose his/her domain names due to investigations.
Precisely.

perfect time to ask for better pricing.

It seems to me Dspsonsor ..Moniker and everybody else want to minimize /disassociate themselves fron Snapnames, when in fact they bought it in early 2007..
