I just received my rebate information from snapnames along with breakdown of affected auctions.

No hurry, let's see how things pan out

Did they put a hold harmless agreement in it?

:rolleyes::shy: Total Rebate $35.45
Im rich, biatch!

This offer is dependent upon your executing and returning to Rust Consulting, Inc., a third party administrator that is assisting with the administration of this rebate offer, the accompanying Rebate Offer Acceptance Agreement (link below) which, among other things, waives any claims you may have against SnapNames and its affiliates relating to this matter. This offer is open for twelve months from today’s date. If the offer is not accepted within this time frame, then the rebate will no longer be available.

I got $25K rebate I am taking it before they change their minds :)

yeah well if they are offering 25k Denny imagine what you are really owned lol

I also received my rebate offer but it was for barely over $1000 which I believe it is vastly under the amount due (although I have no way to know for sure with our account history removed).

Anyone else think their number doesn't look right? I just emailed Snapnames demanding my account history, I doubt they will send it but I did tell them I would be moving my portfolio of thousands of names away from Moniker if it can not be provided.

What a mess.

Actually is about what I expected, at some point I started fight Halvarez - bumping him (he had a bidding pattern) and he left me alone a lot, also I was always bitvhing to Nelson so he knew he better elave me alone or I will poke.

Handful of people are in hundreds of thousands, that's a merry christmas

BTW, if we actually figure out which day he missed from work we will know for sure if he worked alone or someone helped him. We can run those days against our bidding history and see if the day he missed work he was bidding.
Anybody has an "Out of office" email from Nelson?

No email received yet. If they don't comply with requests to release historical auction data the only solution is to sue.

Mine looks perfect, exactly as I had calculated to the penny. I have to say I'm impressed by how they're handling this... As far as my account goes, they're squaring up 100%.

It's irrelevant. They MUST reinstate all history prior to 2007. There is no other way to compare notes.

Yes, but how do we know there were no other shillbid accounts used against us?

Anyone who receives an offer, especially those who were offered large amounts, should be especially insistent that they receive their historical data.

They seem to have arrived at these figures very quickly, I doubt if they were properly double-checked or sanity-tested, they will almost certainly have made mistakes in some cases, the only way to be sure is for us to comb over our data ourselves.

They are only offering this to buy you off and so that they can later claim, in any possible court case, that they did their best to remedy the situation - it will not look good for them, however, if they rejected persistent and widespread requests to hand over the data they starting hiding just a few months ago.

Impressed?? The company robbed people of hundreds of thousands of dollars. They have no choice, as lawsuits and government intervention will crush SnapNames and destroy Oversee if they don't do what's right and proper.

Any idiot can see that this couldn't possbily be limited to one person or one i.d., so in effect anything SnapNames does is not in the interest of their users but to protect their on-the-way-to-jail asses and the parent company's goodwill.

I must say I am amazed at how easily and fully people can be looted and then so quickly forgive (look at the poll results.).

Oversee is making a fatal mistake with this case. They won't avoid getting sued, they are clearly trying to just minimize the size of the potential class. If I don't get my auction history reinstated or provided I will be talking to a lawyer.
