I don´t think they will pay for halvarez bids if they where middle bids! I mean if two or more bidders bidded more. They will probabbly refund you if you where the two top bidders. but who knows

In many cases , I've simply decided not to bid , because of bidding war halvarez vs ........

Most of us bidding at the end of auction and if you see crazy bidding you just leave it

Want to know the truth? He was not alone. I speculated more than one person. After bidding wars if I "left" the guy alone, SnapNames would contact me in order to see why I did not win.

Wow, this is unreal... they need to press charges to the max, and why wouldn't they?

there is more to this story than just being active bidder.
Why would someone go to all the trouble to bump up bids? how did he benefit from that?
What is the motive if not?

5% of all auctions...omg must have been the most active user or one of them, how did this go under radar?

He must had another name or partner and kept some key names...something is fishy.

Anyone else having the same problem?

I wouldnt be surprised if some other names over halvarez were also shill bidders.

By everyone getting together and posting their screen shots... we may be able to see some familiar names to ask about which happened to have bid over halverez but not win the auction...essentially driving up the bid price. He couldve had 20-30 or more shill names to cover halvarez tracks so it wont be so blatantly obvious he was pushing up prices.

Every detail of any auction which halvarez participated in should be reviewed. Each name above and below his bids (those other names might be part of other auction fraud). That's the only way to uncover the entire scope of this.

Heck, lets be thankful he was that lazy to put the halvarez stamp on presumably all these auctions.

So this 'guy' who worked for SnapNames managed to bid on thousands of auctions without raising any suspicion for all of these years? So no other employee or high-level staff noticed this for all this time? You have to ask yourself how one guy can bid on so many auctions whilst also 'working' for SnapNames. This is a huge cover-up and you'd be stupid not to think so.

I wonder if there was a pay scale involved based on performance?

The only other reason I can see him ( others as I am sure there ahad to be others in the know ) was to boost profits for the sake of it?

Funny, myself and literally dozens if not several hundred people complained about him ( Halvarez ) and they didnt know it was all internal? BS

I wonder if Halverez has falsely inflated those numbers?

I cannot check my pre November 2007 auctions to see how much Halvarez cost me...snapnames.com has taken down access to my older order history. I think there were several hundred auctions I was in prior to 2007 and Halvarez was in at least two thirds of the auctions I was in.

Greed always gets these good for nothing scammers eventually ... All of those who got screwed end up with pennies on the dollar when its all said and done. Think of all 2 word keyword rich domains we could have won at $60 over the past few years .. and compare that to what you end up getting in "retributions".

SnapNames.com belonged to him once. I speculate he was part owner and that's the deal. He was a shareholder.

I say we comprise a class action and declare ALL names sold null and void since their inception. I have personally spent 90k+ there and I know the big guys like vaxis and ben franklin have probably spent millions.

That'll be one way to put this company under. Who knows how many other shill bidders there are/were?

We all complained over the years about "halvarez." At least public awareness is out there now.
