So, look what NameBoy.com told about bidoe.com :
"Your domain has a very high appraisal value. Congratulations! Remember that this is only an approximate dollar value, and there is no guarantee that you will be able to sell or buy the domain for this amount.

Appraisal Value of bidoe.com

- Dollar Value is $5109

Thank you very much for choosing NameBoy for your appraisal. Visit nameboy.com to use all of our other services."

I really don't understand this difference between you and them!

Automated appraisals have become the joke of the domain industry. It takes a human to appraise properly and even then it is up to the buyer what the domain is worth.

This domain is not a generic word or phrase and not unique. There are plenty of domains like this that can be registered freely. I don't see this domain selling for anything above reg fee.

Maybe you are right about the automatic apraisals, but I don't think it should be that big difference between your appraisals and NameBoy.
I think the truth is somewhere between...

He is right about automatic appraisals, they are absolutely useless for determining a domain's value. They may have other purposes, like the reporting that Estibot quickly gives you, but otherwise they are a waste of time and are generally misleading. If there were no differences between human appraisals and a bot then we would have no need for human appraisals, those services wouldn't exist, this forum category wouldn't be of any interest, etc. etc.

Here's a little comparison for you, Estibot says this domain is worth $50. edit: here's another example, I ran one of my domains through both systems. Estibot says it's worth $64,000 while Nameboy says it's worth $2950.

What is a Bidoe? It's not an English word. Looks like it might be a word in some other language but doesn't translate with Google (Dutch perhaps?), though it has limited Google results. It has no keyword results, no advertisers, and most likely no traffic or revenue to speak of.

It's also perhaps confusingly similar to Bido.com.

All those things considered, reg fee.

Everybody think about it in its own way. It may be a dutch word, I don't know, but I am thinking this way:

1. BID+OE = bid + something
2. BIDO+E = :D
3. BI+DOE = bisexual + doe
What do you say about that? :)

1,700 results in G. less than for some random useless letters after eachother like "vcxb". No idea why you registered it. $0

Many 5-char pronunceable made up words are available for anyone to register.

The fact that it has BI or BID doesn't provide any value. Say I wanna reg something that starts (or ends) with MAX. Then I have 28x28=784 "words" I can make adding 2 more letters, or at least 25 using only vowels, or more than 200 combining CV or VC. Again NO VALUE, unless it is a whole useful dict word, or a great acronym. NOT THE CASE here either.
