Just wanting to know how much, say for example blue.com or red.com or yellow.com ... are they worth alot?

well, they aren't in the same league as names like athlete.com or business.com, but they can certainly be valuable.

naturally the more common colors (blue, red, black, white) are better than obscure colors like magenta, etc.

Available:

purpleColor.COM

blackColor.NET
yellowColor.NET
greenColor.NET

It's funny you ask that. A girl in my office loves the color orange. She wanted to find a domain with orange in the title (of course she has to compete with the citrus fruit in this case) but I was surprised at all of the domains that were taken with orange (and other colors in the titles). They probably aren't worth a lot but they do seem to be popular.

I got a girl in my office that likes pink

I have a girl who works for me that wears pink...

color names seems popular.
I searched them and noone available.

i think color names have value but only if the color is the only thing in the name.

yellow.com = value

thecoloryellow.com= $0

Just to add my 2 pennies...

Purple = value!!!
TheColorPurple = a TM violation and plenty of hollywood lawyers calling you.

:D

i would pay a forture for a sole colour like pink.com, blue.com etc. but i would.com pay much for other colour related ones unless i had a customer that wanted it!

i got a girl inmy office thats color blind

Common colors I would value in the $25k range. Have you noticed how these big companies like to associate themselves with a color?

What company do you think of for 'BLUE'? (ibm)

Who's now calling themselves 'BROWN'? (ups)

..and of course there's the telecom company Orange (orange.com)

:)

I got a girl in my office that likes puppies

A citrus orange colour generally signifies youth and energy, excitement, etc...

Check out some advertising aimed at youth, and you'll see what I mean... :)
