What do you think it is worth?

You can check similar domains that have sold on dnsaleprice.com

I tried contacting a few big internet providers and comparison sites but don't know how to get in touch with the right people in those organisations.

I cant see much value in this one, there are so many developed sites like that out there

The .net really hurts this one, you wont find a big service provider buying this one

Just my opinion...

I don't see much value in this one as well. IMHO, You might be able to get low $xxx but only if you found the right buyer/end-user.

If you want to increase it's value, you might think about developing a small site on it with some blog posts about broadband related topics and maybe some reviews. I don't know if or how much it might increase the value though.

The keyword matches the extension, so I disagree that the .net hurts. Only if you're targeting a big service provider, but why would you do that?

Its hurts the name because big providers wont waste their time buying a .NET domain, which is exactly what the OP said he was doing, approaching big internet providers?

I haven't contacted big internet providers since I have no idea how to get in touch with the decision makers in those huge organisations. Similar domains have been sold for decent amounts according to dnsaleprice.com.

oh ok, sorry you said you had?

Check their websites under Contact Us, Management, executive team etc..they often have them on there

so say its Cisco as an example

Or google "executive team at Cisco" etc and you can always find them that way

Check on LinkedIn, it often has all the decision makers for a company

Google "Cisco Company Profile"...first page brings this up with a list of executives at the company

http://money.cnn.com/quote/shareholders/shareholders.html?symb=CSCO

You have to use your initiative in this game and Google has everything you need to find out who the decision makers are at any company

I like the linkedin idea thanks.

.net prices are going down like crazy so u should definitely try an go find an end user as reseller would hardly justify its potential price
