domainappraisal.com $52,000 sold at sedo thats a nice price i do think it has a big future ahead of it because the industry is growing but it must be a end user .

It seem Xavier BUCKis the buyer
A nice sale !
Who is the seller ?

That is a good sale by the way.

End user for sure, only thing I can think of is recoup on offering appraisals. Appraisals to newbs or morons at XX a pop ? Thats a lot of appraisals before someone *****es and it goes down hill. Good luck.

I wonder how often the word 'appraisel' gets typo'd?

Domain is screaming to be developed. Great sale.

I agree ... Big money, big risk!

Would this term be better with an 's' at the end? Once developped, will it lose some traffic to the plural - which looks like it's parked now.

ideally you would have both, but i think the singular is actually better. this singluar term gets more search traffic anyway

Happy for the seller, congrats to them.

Big Risk in domain appraisels market - unless after an appraisel the site can sell the name too at or around their given value.

The typo of appraisal I figure is pretty common.

The real issue is a majority of anyone who knows anything about domaining would not get one. The one's who will get one will soon learn not to. Not a big enough market and with the scams going on in this niche I can see many being scared to.

The name is clearly not what propted that price, has to be the potential to charge $19.95 to 2,XXX idiots which after that you covered the cost of the name still have little to no real value and hope the hits keep on coming. Which they could, I reckon there are more idots around lol

Seems like a lot of work for little cheese.
