Hi, I'd like to know what's the best way to grab and expiring domain at register.com?

I remember that they used to have an agreement with snapnames years ago, not sure for now.

What happens if I'm the only one who placed a backorder at snapnames? Do I win the auction?

What do you suggest?

Many thanks!

Yes, they are still partners with snapnames normally.
So SN will get exclusivity as long as the domain is just expired and not deleting of course.
If you are the sole bidder, you get the name, unless register.com decide to play games like setting a reserve or keeping the domains :)

Hi katherine, thank you.

So if the domain is still in Redemption Period means I still have a chance but if it changes to Pending delete the chance is gone?

Thanks!

Most likely NameJet if it's a pre-release masqueraded as a drop.

Hi Acro, it seems a normal drop to me, not a very important domain, but I'd like to have it (but maybe other one would like to have it too :)

if its redemption period its too late for snapnames to auction it as a pre-release. it will go into pending delete eventually and any drop catch service could get it.

One last question. What would happen if another backorder is placed at the same time? Which backorder win? Or the domain goes to auction among the people who backordered?

Thanks!
