I haven't found anything I liked on the drop lists for some time now, but I thought this one was worth regging, even as a .org.

FilmDirectors.org

I would guess $150-$300 as the retail value. Does that sound like the right ballpark?

I like it, but it's going to be a tough sale on the domain aftermarket. It's a developable name for amateur directors or film students.

i think you could easily get that much for it. what i would do is find some forums for young directors and notify the members the domain is for sale.

motionpicture.org sold for $700 a couple years ago

FilmDirectors.org

thats how i regged this one: specialfx.org

i like this name so much that i dont care about .org
:)

BTW, these are still available:
special-fx.info
special-fx.us
special-effects.us

Thanks for your comments guys. Specialfx is a cool name dax. Not available in anything else so I would be happy with the .org too. Lots of people into that field, so I am sure there are organizations devoted to it that would fit the .org extension.

I was disappointed a couple of days ago. I found that FilmIndustry.info was going to drop so I monitored it about every hour but someone in Germany beat me to it.
