Usually there is little if any value whenever someone needs to ask the question "what does it mean"

I enjoy an adrenaline rush even if i get hurt, sometimes i think "I get off on the pain" thats what it means, now image a tube website w/ SHOCK video. thats what im thinking, so that is worth nothing?

If someone knew how to set up a successful "shock video" website, they could probably find many other domains that would serve them at least as well as this one ... so I don't see any real value here, sorry.

make your 'shock' video and be happy.

beyond that, it would cost millions to brand it, market it, get people to use it, and define it.

An appallingly bad domain. Good luck with it, but less than reg fee from here...

Ok Doc i took your professional advise here it is www.GetOffonThePain.com video website been up 1 1/2 days 213 hits $4.07 with a couple post to facebook and some goups i'm in.
And as far as "appalling" i don't thinks so there are going to be alot of people that "Get Off" on it.
If the "half empty" thought process on this forum had a little more imagination, insight, innovation, optimism, and creativity it would make for a better appraisal thread, instead of thinking what you have is better than anyone elses.
My glass is ALWAYS "Half Full".
I think it is worth alittle more than $0 Thanks

Get
off
on
the
pain

5 words, far too long to be of any use. Obscure phrase.

Want to upload shock videos? Register Shoxster.com - it's available for reg fee, as much as your 5-worder is worth.

Congratulations on the success of your site, but I imagine it is succeeding despite its name, not because of it. Your stats don't contradict any appraisals that were given here; my best suggestion is to listen to the voices of experience here, instead of insulting them.

Very niche market, difficult finding an end user.

Didn't mean to insult anyone, if your insulted it because you have that "half empty" mentality i was talking about

It's quite possible that I have a "half empty" mentality,
but let me now offer you a hint of an apology re: my
earlier comment, and do a little back-peddling in to the
bargain... :)

On reflection, the name could be seen as half-desirable
in the world of S&M. I know nothing about this industry,
apart from knowing that it can involve "getting off" on
pain.

If anyone knows more about this subject area, and doesn't
think it is suitable for that use then please say so here :)

Actually, S&M, what little I know about it, is something that
disgusts me in a way that words can not describe, but some
people are in to it and I would be failing you re: an appraisal
val. were I not to mention this potential use (or application
for the domain).

So, as a domain, yes it may be worth a bit... How much 'tho
is impossible to say. Good luck :)

Thank you Brian, now that is exactly the kind of info that should be shared on an appaisal thread, personally i don't think the DN is worth much either, but i like the ideas you shared instead of bashing a bad DN. I didnt need another website i just did it to show the negative appraisers there is a little worth in everyones ideas especially if they are not bashed down before they have a chance to flourish. Thanks again Oh by the way made another $2.77 today! YAY

I find it amusing that you both dissed AND took my advice with shoxter.com

So you went ahead and registered shoxter.com as truly an indication of what a domain should be: short, creative, easy to remember. If you missed the early Internet days and can't get Shocker.com that's the type of domains you need for active content.

Then you ****ed up again by pointing it to that POS long-tail pigeonshit you are promoting as a "money maker".

Rick Schwartz was right when he said 75% of domainers own portfolios worth zilch.
