How about giving some details on how and why this happened. Was it a computer glitch?

Have no idea!? Jennifer D. in support emailed me that they need the last four digits of my credit card: What the F**K for? (I had to email support because the waiting time for calling was 35+ minutes! I'm probably not alone!?)

I hope you do not have a lot of credit cards and recall which one you used!

Regarding a name I was getting out of redemption I also ran into that and did not have the last 4 digits. Ended up speaking to Top Management at GD/WW, who verified my voice for authenticity to finally approve the order. Not sure what would have happpened if he did not remember my voice! Nevertheless I still think GD/WW are great overall. I am sure there is a logical explanation for what happened to your account and they will fix it.

LOL! It gets stranger every day. Next time, they will want your chromosome genetic map taken by the CEO of Godaddy. Give me a break, real. No excuses for bulllying tactics.

Just another reason to use Fabulous :P

Didn't know that GoDaddy actually implemented voice recognition. I thought only like CIA or FBI had that. LOL! That is really impressive as I can't be 100% sure of my parents' voice. :D

That is really the truth. Tech Supt could not verify who I was as they use the last 4 digits of the CC and nothing else. The reason top management verified my voice so easy and told tech supt it was OK, is because of many phone calls back and forth last yr when I transferred zillions of names to them and they helped out immensely making the process as painless as possible. The President helped out personally many times, which was great of him. Talk about top-notch service!

It's a glitch! (At least that's what they're saying now.) And some more names were just pulled out of the account with expiration dates of May 21st! (They're putting the older ones back in but the system is still removing newer ones.) They better fix it fast before I have nothing left! T-I-C (tongue-in-cheek)!

hmmm, they are getting more like enom every day...

why wait until last minute to decide renew domain and risk such event to occur..

it is good to check your account for expiration domains at least every week

My last remaining GoDaddy domain is moving out as we speak. Who's your daddy now?

You moved out of dotster too. Where did you move?

15 minute Quiz: Which registrar used this line: "Who's your daddy now?" :-)

Stargate.com :-)

I use them along with Enom; the latter is doing malakies with the ORG domains !

What does Enom do with .org?
Seems a lot of registars have problems with .org.
